I've known a few who tried. Mostly ended up being something they regretted though.
They went in assuming they would make the advertised amounts that we hear about on the news and what not (you know, 20k a month on the low end, for minimal work etc). But then they really didn't make much at all, and ended up just having friends/randoms who know them subscribing, I know someone who said she made maybe 5k total for the 6 months she did it.
